In March of 2017 my husband and I decided to finally start our kitchen renovation. We were doing most of the work but the cabinets, electrical and plumbing needed to be sourced out to the professionals. I had been researching appliances and kitchen places since December of 2016 and it came down to a few places that we had heard good reviews about. We picked a company and started the demolition on the main floor. Unfortunately when we went to give our deposit 3 days after speaking with them they had given our install date in May to someone else and told us they were now booking installs into August of 2017 (remember this is March the demo started). My kitchen was already half way torn out and we were all living in the basement (finished with a small kitchen but no stove) and we have a 4 year old. There was no way I could wait until August. We canceled with the custom cabinet maker and I went back to my list of dealers. RockWood was referred to me at this time from a friend, so we went and spoke with Karlee. We explained the situation and crossed our fingers. Within a matter of a day or two she had everything organized and planned out with computer images of what the kitchen would look like and a confirmed install date for May 2017. We were absolutely thrilled. We did go get 3 more quotes and to my surprise for the same quality of kitchen (wood, hardware etc) RockWood was thousands less!!! We didn't want cheap but we did have a budget and every other kitchen store we went to couldn't beat RockWood's prices and they came no where near Karlee's customer service. I am still waiting for 2 kitchen stores to return my phone call.

Long story short, we did our homework, went with our gut and ended up with amazing results. We love our kitchen it was everything we wanted in our home. My main floor feels huge now after the wall being taken out and the white cabinets and Island being installed to create the beach theme I have always wanted for our home. RockWood and Karlee were professional and fun to work with. Their trades people they use were fast, efficient, on time and extremely courteous. We have told several friends about our experience and most have told us they wish they had been treated this way when they had their kitchens remodeled. A friend of mine is going through a kitchen reno as I type this. Her contractor is 6 weeks behind, doesn't show up and keeps promising he will finish this Tuesday. My heart goes out to her, she told me the other day "I should have gone to RockWood". Yes she should have.

Thank you to everyone who worked with us and for making a stressful time seem a little easier for our family. Karlee you are so sweet and we were so lucky to have you on the team, Michael and John your teams were fantastic and we appreciate all you did. The craftsmanship of our cabinets is beautiful and we will love our kitchen for years to come.

These are only two of the words we would use to describe our new kitchen from ROCKWOOD KITCHENS. Our kitchen has quickly become a focal point in our home. We are amazed at how much the kitchen has exceeded our dreams.
From start to finish, the whole experience was phenomenal. Tommy (one of the owners) and his wife, Leslie, came by a few times to measure, provide his vision and reassure us that his proposal fit our needs, our lifestyle and our budget. He was right on all counts.
Delivery and installation were on time and without complication. The people in the showroom, the delivery personnel and installers were first class all the way. They were considerate of us and our home. During installation, clean-up was done at the end of each workday. Mess and clutter were kept to a minimum
We feel confident about recommending ROCKWOOD KITCHENS to our friends and anyone who walks into our home (when they remark about how great the kitchen looks). Our plumber and tile installer commented on the quality of the construction and finish of the cabinets and happily took the contact information. A colleague has placed their order for a new kitchen after they saw how beautifully ours turned out.
I cannot recommend ROCKWOOD KITCHENS enough. They fill the niche between the big box stores and custom kitchen providers, that is, they provide great pricing with great quality and design.
Dealing with Tommy and his people was a wonderful experience and we could not be happier.
